A ministry of unceasing prayer and praise established by intercessors being wiling to pray an hour a week. They pray for a list of needs for various, both local and international, that change monthly. In Isaiah 62:6-7, "And as the Bridgegroom rejoices over the bride, so shall your God rejoice over you. I have set watchman on your walls, O Jerusalem; they shall never hold their peace day or night. You who make mention of the Lord, do not keep silent, and give Him no rest till He establishes and He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth." These words demonstrate a unique balance between humans' intercession and God's sovereignty. During the years when Israel had remained silent before the Lord, the enemy had consumed everything for which the Israelites had worked. Their silence was evidence that they had a self-sufficient attitude, having forgotten the Lord's powr and provision. Once they accepted their appointment, God committed to protect them from their enemies. It is obvious today that our congregations' families and single need this kind of protection. Without God's protection we have a problem. The enemy is allowed to consume us at the point of our need, and we get weaker while the enemy gets stronger. Anyone interested in becoming a watchman may call the church. God is always looking for more watchmen. |

We have people who operate in their spiritual gifts to minister to different needs in our congregation. A church our size always has people in the hospital who need prayer. Therefore we have approximately 30 people who work on our hospital team. There are members who are homebound and/or in nursing homes that we visit monthly. This team visits, prays and cares for those who are otherwise closed off from the outside world. There is a Healing team that also visits people who are in need of a physical healing. Prayer Place is a facility dedicated to prayer, both individuals and groups meet to pray together and do the ministry of prayer. It is used 7 days a week. Feel free to come and visit. | |
